solutions, today announced that Al Campa has joined the executive team
as Chief Marketing Officer. Campa, who brings more than 25 years of
experience to his new role, will drive RingCentral’s global marketing
strategy as the company continues its rapid growth trajectory worldwide,
delivering cloud-based solutions for today’s mobile workforces.

Campa has extensive experience as an entrepreneur and executive in the
SaaS and technology space, with deep expertise in talent management,
analytics, customer relationship management and digital marketing.
Before joining RingCentral, Campa was a partner at Sierra Ventures,
where he evaluated investments and helped portfolio companies scale up
operations and drive revenue.
Prior to that, Campa served as CEO of Reachable, a social CRM company,
and he has also served as CMO of Taleo, where he played a key role in
growing the company leading to its $1.9B acquisition by Oracle. Earlier
in his career, Campa was the founding CEO of JasperSoft, which was a
pioneer in the open source business intelligence sector. He also served
as vice president of marketing at Actuate, where he was instrumental in
scaling the business from a startup to a successful public company.
Campa also held leadership positions at Sybase and Sun Microsystems,
helping them grow to over $1 billion in revenue. Campa earned a bachelor
of science in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and an MBA
from Harvard Business School.
